MSE Cheap Energy Club cash back
Options
I last month transferred my energy supplier from EON to British Gas and am entitled to received the Cheap Energy club cash back which should be in my bank account after 3 months or so. Today I received email from the cheap energy club about a new fixed tariff offer "blagged" with British Gas savings of which include a cash back. So will I received both cash backs? i.e the first one for transferring to British Gas via the Cheap Energ Club last month and if I take up the new British Gas deal through the Cheap Energy Club entitling me for anoither cash back?

Welcome to the forum. It's unlikely that any supplier would give Cashback if you are an existing customer, and many will exclude such offers if you have been a customer within the last 12 months.0

I shouldn’t think you can receive two payments. I also signed up to this tariff British Gas, two months in and they try to increase payment monthly by almost 40.00, stating they think I won’t be paying enough. We came to an agreement, as my monthly payment was only short by 4.00 of 110.00 now. Originally the quote was for 88.00 a month. Why don’t they just be more realistic when stating what your payment will be before we switch?0
