UC REVIEW AS A FOSTER CARER

Hello,
I'm a little worried about a UC review that I've been asked to provide, it's a bit like going through the airport and have nothing on you but feel like you have the world of illegal contraband on you.
I'm a foster carer and a lot of my transactions are paid out for different things. I also sperate my funds across a few accounts to manage my money better (im dyslexic so my brain understands it like this) I also receive an allowance for a group that I take my foster child too. Which is added onto my fostering allowance. It's all explainable however I'm worried that it's going to be questioned and looked at more than it is.

It's nothing to fear, be honest with them and make sure everything is clear as to what's what. I'd just opened a couple of new accounts when they asked for my statements and so I couldn't provide the 4 months of statements for those accounts and had a big balance transfer coming in and cash going out for some vehicle repairs. It was all fine, it's a human who reviews the statements they're just checking that your situation is as their records show and they you're receiving the correct amount.0

There is a universal credit review of a very large number of claims. As long as your money, savings and investments are less than £16000 and any savings between £6000 and £16000 have been correctly disclosed, then there should be no issue. And also if you explain the foster allowance amounts that is not an issue for UC, as UC does not take it into account.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.1
