ok just paid off another £200 in 1pound and 2pound coins. As i was walking up to the counter the "can i help" lady came up to me and said i can only pay in upto 5 bags of coins.....into my own account..... well lots of people in the que thought that this was silly and started to swop my money for me for kids lunches and stuff:rolleyes: my husband was mortified for some strange reason but i was very greatful. so that takes my total for febuary upto £400 and £600 for the year:D

Its nice to see community spirit:D My Bank will actually let you pay in as many bags as you want (Lloyds TSB)

Hi to all the newbies - its very addictive paying off your mortgage:rotfl:

    Hi all,

Can I join in? I'm training to be a teacher at the moment so super busy and pretty skint but I think £2000 should be managable

    Thanks

    Courgette

Of course you can join! Good luck with your training...you must be about to start your long placement?

  • Well done to all those people who have sent me Feb updates. Please, please can I ask all you lovely people a favour? Some of you are not sending me all the information I need to be able to update your totals quickly, and when I am doing a few at a time it can get a bit confusing - I don't want to get things wrong! Please can you send me the following information:

    1. Your total for the month/your update - remember I am happy to update at any time!
    2. Your running total for the whole year so far

Thank you to all those people who already do this.

    BB

    Hi All

Tonight I am hanging around waiting for it to be after 9.00 p m so that I can go to Morrisons and snag some bargains..........not the most rock and roll Friday I've ever had, perhaps I am getting just a wee bit obsessed on the mortgage front .

Getting advice and thoughts from all of you I have decided to attack my mortgage a bit more systematically whilst trying to build up at least some savings. I am on an offset mortgage so savings make sense. In future the first £200 of any savings go to savings and anything else goes off the mortgage.

This month I have paid off an extra £810 which is great but I don't think I will pay more than £300 off in March as I am going on holiday in two weeks to the Far East. Still life is to be lived and having started this paying off business rather late in the day I do want to still enjoy life and seize opportunities for travel etc.

I want to add a signature to plot my payments can anyone tell me how to do it?
