TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS FM x Channel 4 x The Honesty Box –(the “Competition”) 

 These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

1.ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS  

 Online Competition: 

 Entries are restricted to one entry per person. 

 Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:

2. COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN  

  

PRIZE 1 MECHANIC: 

 

2.1. Each day, 1 x listener will join Jordan and Perri on KISS Breakfast with their partner. The listener will have to reveal to their partner, live on air, something that they've told them in the past that isn’t true. The mechanic will remain the same from Monday – Friday.  

2.2. Bauer Media’s production team will select a shortlist of entries from all entries submitted via the online page from 00:00am on 30/04/2025 until 23:59pm 08/05/2025. The shortlist will be selected based on which entries the production team think will be most engaging on air. 

2.3. All shortlisted entrants will be contacted by Bauer Media’s production team the day before they are in contention to come on air. The purpose of this call is to ensure that shortlisted entrants are available at the time of the live on-air competition the following day. Receiving this call does not mean the shortlisted entrant has won.  

2.4. The shortlist of entrants will then be sent to the KISS Breakfast Producers. The KISS Breakfast producers will make the final decision on which entries are brough to air. This decision will be based on which entries they think will be most engaging on air. 

2.5. The successful entrants that are brought to air to tell us about their online submission entry, will win prize 1. 

 

PRIZE 1 DATES: 

There will be 4 winners of prize 1. Prize 1 will be won when entrants are brought to air on the following dates: 

 

Tuesday 6th May (07.00am - 11.00am) 

Wednesday 7th May (07.00am - 11.00am) 

Thursday 8th May (07.00am - 11.00am) 

Friday 9th May (part 1) (07.00am - 11.00am)

PRIZE 2 MECHANIC: 

 

2.7. On Friday 9th May there will be a second on air competition (part 2) on KISS Breakfast for Prize 2. The entry mechanic will be the same at prize 1 mechanic (see 2.1 - 2.6) 

2.8. The winner of this round will be the KISS Judging Panel’s favourite submission from all valid entries who enter the competition from 00:00 on 30/04/2025 until 23:59 08/05/2025. 

2.9. The winner of prize 2 mechanic cannot be any of the winner’s of prize 1 mechanic.  

 

PRIZE 2 DATES: 

There will be 1 winners of prize 2. Prize 2 will be won when the winner is brought to air on the second competition round on the following date: 

Friday 9th May (part 2) (07.00am - 11.00am) 

PRIZE 1 AND PRIZE 2 MECHANIC T&C’s: 

The on-air content of the entrant’s submission must be consistent with what was shared online during the competition entry process. 

The KISS Breakfast producer’s decision is final.  

By accepting the prize, you consent to your appearance on-air being recorded and broadcasted live on KISS radio. You also grant KISS radio the right to use your name, likeness, and voice for promotional purposes related to the competition. 

By entering this competition, you acknowledge that if you are willing to appear live on KISS radio between the hours of 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM on one of the following dates: Tuesday 6th May, Wednesday 7th May, Thursday 8th May, Friday 9th May. 

If the KISS are unable to contact a shortlisted entrant, they reserve the right to move on to another shortlisted entrant. 

See section 5 for details on prize 1 and 2.  

3. DATES  

 All entries (prize 1 and 2) must be submitted during the following entry period: 

From Wednesday 30th April 2025 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to Thursday 8th May 2024 at 23:59 (“End Time”). 

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid. 

Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown are available on request by emailing win@bauermedia.co.uk  

However, if the winner cannot be contacted within 2 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.  

  

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS 

Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry. 

Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. 

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. 

Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition nor will anyone else at their address. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded. Terms & Conditions: 

The prize package is for two (2) people, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;  

At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission;  

Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) double occupancy room, in the winner’s chosen location; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; 

A valid credit or debit card for incidentals may be required to guarantee your room on check in and therefore at least one of the travellers must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card;  

The prize excludes any travel costs, meals and drinks, hotel incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;  

If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion;  

Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure;  

Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;  

Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available;

2.   INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had. 

3.   MISCELLANEOUS. 

Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms. 

Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. 

You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route. 

We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition. 

Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant. 

As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize. 

  

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
