Renewing Insurance
Insurance expires in precisely 4 weeks time.
I have not had a renewal quote from my current provider Admiral, yet.
However on price comparison sites I have had some very good quotes compared to last years.
If I wait a week or so, will these prices go up/down much at all ?
I do not want to rush into anything, but also do not want to miss good offers.
Thanks

Depending on how you got the quotes many insurers hold a quote for up to X days so as long as you go back in and recall the prior quote rather than asking for new ones then you are good for up to X days. X is typically 14-21 days but some are much shorter if via aggregators etc.1

The cheapest ones say " Expires today " conveniently.DullGreyGuy said:Depending on how you got the quotes many insurers hold a quote for up to X days so as long as you go back in and recall the prior quote rather than asking for new ones then you are good for up to X days. Quotes are usually good for 30 days, so go into the link on the comparison site and save the quote with the actual company.0

My cheapest quote in February was Yoga and on the comparison sites was always "expiring today"
The price remained within a couple of pence for 3 weeks until I finally purchased 14 days before my old policy expired.
Purchased through Topcashback and got £45 back after 58 days.
Overall, prices were down 10-15% from the previous renewal.1
