Advice please, on PIP back pay

Hi all,
Does anyone have a rough idea how long it takes for PIP to pay any back pay on renewal..
had a phone call to say  renewal had been successful and that I’m due back pay , need to check if I owe money first … received my first months pip at new rate and later confirming award and it says I maybe entitled to back pay … how likely is it I will receive any given the phone call said I will receive it and letter says I might ?? And roughly how long would it take to receive this ( I’ve called pip and it’s just saying normal amount for next pay date , but not sure if the automated message would give a date and amount for back pay ?? )
thank you for reading , hope it makes sense ..

Took around 3 weeks for ours to come through.

It was backdated from date review form was sent out to date of result.
So in our case from Dec 2023 to March 2025. Going from std to enhanced on both parts.
Got no message around back pay amount, it just dropped into bank account as a separate amount. Think it goes to a team to check the amount before being paid out.

I just worked it out myself.

If you get any means tested benefits, don't forget to let them know the amount, as it is disregarded, but they did not say for how long...

Yea, took a while for letter to come through after phone call advising results. Which was nice & not aware of.
So did not answer phone, but they left voice mail & rang back about 30 mins later.

    12 months, for straightforward backpay.
