anybody can recommand a good kitchen fitter in West London

Hi Guys,

We moved into our first house 3 months ago, and have started long journey of daunting work in the 1880 cottage. We are now going to do the kitchen, and have set our eyes on the 'cottage' style kitchen from BnQ, quoted price is about 1700 - 1800, and just need builders.

Anybody could recommand trustworthy builders to fit the kitchen.

did you buy a B&Q 50% off doors kitchen then an extra 20% off.

what a con, im a kitchen fitter and fit a lot of kitchens from B&Q, there prices have trippled in less than a year, i have price lists from last year ,

so be careful when sales look to good to be true,
But apart from that i know kitchen fitters who travel to london to fit kitchens they earn approx £ 2000 per week but they will work for it.
i dont know if this gives you any idea of what to pay.
but only use reccomended tradesmen and inspect their work.

Hi,
be careful with B&Q: quite often they are failing to deliver the ordered unites and for the redelivery they would ask you to wait up to 4 weeks.

- Ask at least three builders to provide quotes.

- Talk to the builder's previous customers.

I think my problem is, i dont even know three traders who I could get quote from. where shall I look for them. We just moved into the area, dont know anybody.
