Universal Migration Nightmare

Options
Hello all you lovely peeps....I was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat, I recieved my UC migration letter in March 2025, I went online and filled it all in , done what was asked, then letters started arriving saying this has been stopped and this has been suspended, it was confusing , but I think I understood. Then today i had an email telling me to check my journal for my new payments, there was no housing costs, no c/tax costs and no transtition payments it was nearly £700 less than i expected, I rang UC and they said because my housing didnt respond to there rent comformation request, they cancelled my claim, and was told to ring them. Also that someone will be calling me about the transition payment, The housing have now sent the rent comformation, but when i will get it god knows......In the mean time its another waiting game....they say its soooooo easy to migrate ....no Mr Universal Credit ...it is not x

Once the underpayment has been sorted for Transitional Protection and Housing Element, a new payment statement will be added and a letter confirming the amount you are owed. Payment will then follow within a few working days.

Council Tax Reduction is administered by your local authority.

    Hello!

UC doesn't pay council tax; that's the council's job. Now your rent will be paid in arrears by a month.

Now, was all your ESA income based, or only part of it? And maybe you had an ESA contribution-related entitlement.

As I've said, the only person managing the migration is you, with really no help from UC or input—basically a bot system.

Another tip, for anyone migrating themselves over, contact your housing provider before or after submitting the claim so they can prepare for the delays in rent payments.

Did you inform them you was asked to migrate.

Ok, so no ESA contribution entitlement at all.
