Raisin easy access account termination certifcate

Options
I recently closed an easy access account with Raisin. A few days later my account was closed and my savings were paid into my nominated bank account. I then checked the termination certificate which gave details of when account opened and closed and final amount returned to me via Raison. I noticed a discrepancy of £31 between what was on the termination certificate and what Raisin sent to my nominated bank account. I checked my Raisin account to see if the underpayment was accounted for but could not find anything recorded that stated I was being charged a £31 fee. I have written to Raisin for clarification and as yet am waiting a reply. I wondered if anyone else has experienced something similar and is it common practice that a charge is not recorded in any of my accounts with Raisin.

I closed a Monumement Bank Easy Access account with Raisin this week as the rate was not that competitive or particularly easy access.  I got all the money I expected with no obvious fees.  What I do need is an account closure statement for next years tax return.

    Dugal thanks for the reply.
My easy access account was with the same bank and the reason for closing the account was the same as you. I initiated closure on the Thursday 17/4/25 when the rate dropped to 4.32% but due to the Easter bank holiday (Friday & Monday) the transfer to my nominated bank account was on the Wed 23/4/25. It was only a few days later when I looked at my Raisin acct that I noticed the termination certificate from Monument was for a different amount from the amount that Raisin sent me. I also checked the "pending" box in my acct but it states no further actions are due. I am also concerned that no final closure statement has been produced for HMRC purposes.
A statement would make all transactions transparent. Hopefully Raisin will reply to my query soon and clarify.
