Good Morning

This is a very minor issue and wondered if others were experiencing it.

I always select the competition I want to enter from the main list. I click on the title which takes me to the post for the competition. Sometimes the title doesn't fully explain what the prize is and it is not until you see the full post or go onto the actual competition site you see what the prize is. 

I then select the green tick on the post if I've entered and red tick if I haven't. Which ever one I select is then highlighted and I then go back to the full list of competitions. 

But the full list of competitions does not show either green or red box ticked/highlighted and I have to tick the relevant box again. So twice for each post. 

I know this is trivial but for those of us who enter lots of competitions those extra key presses make all the difference. 

I've logged in and out of MSE and I've also refreshed the pages but it is still the same.

I find the same.  I click the compliment button and either the red or green tickbox, then return to the main page and click the same tickbox there.  The tick used to be shown on the main page, but unless you highlight again it doesn't.
Not sure whether MSE forum settings would help.

@libra10 I don't know how long it's been doing it but think it is quite a while. I started making the mistake of trying to enter the same competition twice only to find I had already entered or rejected that competiton and the red or green box was not highlighted on the main competition page. I always make sure either one is highlighted on the post before going back to the list.

@Molly4 Clicking the competition post never transfers to the main page, I always have to click again to highlight.

I use Chrome mainly, and always have to highlight the post twice.

Hmm, very odd. Maybe, but I also use Chrome, and it always transfer the tick to the main board listing!

@libra10 You are correct clicking on the post does not transfer you to the main page. I am sorry if I gave that impression.

To move from the main page to the post you have to click on the one line title in the main page list. 

To move from the competition post back to the main page I either click on the back arrow top left of the browser page or I use Alt <

@cooldude255220 Up until recently I never had to tick/highlight the green or red buttons twice. I either did it on the post or on the main list page. Either way whatever selection I made transfered itself over. So if I ticked the green button on the post when I went back to the main page the green button for that particular competition was already highlighted.

Since I often open a number of comps at the same time in different tabs from the main page, I usually tick the green or red box on the competition page, then close the tab. The main page does not show the selection until I refresh the page, but it does show then and I do not need to click the box on the main page. I usually use Chrome, sometimes Firefox, makes no difference.
