Absolutely Furious

I parked in Starbucks (Stanstead) and bought a coffee. I stayed just over half an hour. I have now received a parking fine from Met Parking Services. I do this trip quite a lot and know that I can stay for an hour without paying for parking. They acknowledge I only stayed for half an hour. I have tried to appeal but their email address on the back of the form does not work. I am going to have to write to them. There is also no contact telephone number unless it is to make payment. I am not paying. Are this company legitimate/crooks or just stupid.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I wouldn't get so worked up . It's only a parking ticket. Not a fine.

Did you register your VRM details on the keypad inside Starbucks   ?

Did you actually park on the section for Starbucks   ?  ( or on the adjacent McDonald's part  )  ?

The link is below to appeal as keeper   ( add a copy of proof of patronage if possible   )

Nothing new or different. They have a tablet for reg number input. Same advice as here:

    It really doesn't matter.

Don't go admitting to driving as these are easy to beat at POPLA as long as the KEEPER appeals as keeper. Dead easy.

Their online appeal option certainly works. We see hundreds of these and nobody else has reported any issues with first appeal.
