I have now gone ahead and deleted all my cards on file and if it means having to put in some manual effort each time I purchase something then so be it.

They do have an address to send to but you only get that by going around the hoola hoop. Try email the Managing Director might get something. You can also ask for a dump of all your data https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/privacycentral (your rights are protected under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).This should include all purchases. If this is lacking certain info and they can't explain why, i.e. you have record of a purchase they removed it you can then complain to the ICO as they should not delete/remove any purchase info. As far as I'm aware they need to keep data for 6yrs tax, consumer rights (warranty etc). However I agree the customer service is a joke. Faceless bunch poor to deal with and treat you disgustingly. I.was previously with them around 20yrs ended up leaving. I'll post issue separately.0
