Plan 1 - date debt gets written off

Hi, I’m trying to understand when my Plan 1 student loan will be written off to determine if I should try and overpay or leave it as it is.
The .GOV and MSE website says:
The loans for your course will be written off 25 years after the April you were first due to repay.”
Does this mean the April after I first reached the threshold to repay and, or the April after I completed the course but was below the threshold?

This is probably obvious but I can’t work it out and can’t find anywhere that explains it.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

The April after you finished the course.
That is when you were due to repay, though your income may have meant no repayments needed to be made.
That assumes that you are up to date on all your repayments.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. It also depends when you got the first payment. I believe if it was before 2006 on Plan 1 it's only written off when you reach 650
