Balkan Holidays Closing Down

Balkan Holidays (Bulgaria specialist as well as Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia among others) has announced it is closing its doors after trading since the 1960s. Had quite a sizeable operation from UK regions at their peak with their own charter airline.

Seems like it's a controlled wind down of operations rather than bankruptcy with promises of refunds for future bookings and suppliers being paid.

We regret to inform you that Balkan Holidays Ltd has as of 24th of April 2025, closed for business in the UK. Clients currently on holiday will be unaffected.

The company remains solvent, but has ceased trading, however all forward holiday bookings have been cancelled. All clients will be notified and refunded in full. May we kindly ask for patience as we process the refunds and appreciate your understanding.
