So, things escalated.
They were messing about on their driveway, all we heard was tyres screeching and then a loud crunch.
Damaged our fence now.0 -
Did you speak to them about what they're going to do to get it fixed?1

They have been a bit juvenile.
Have you spoken with them about them repairing the fence?1 -
I think Steven is hoping for a magic solution. I suspect there isn't one. They sound as tho' they are well 'established' in their 'business', so won't take very kindly to being told to stop. You will likely need some serious mettle should you tackle this, so be determined to adopt a zero-tolerance approach, so any actual or implied intimidation or retaliation is reported instantly. No second chance.

So what did your council and councillors/house legal say? CCTV up?1
-
Spoke to them this morning and basically got "it's not damaged on our side" answer, few choice words etc.
Sent an email off to local councilor with documented days, times photos and a journal as such of what's been happening, loud music, grinders, banging etc. Still waiting for a reply. Have also emailed this to the planning authority section of the council to see what comes back.
We've had a survey done for CCTV to be set up, waiting for a cost to come back vs buying our own and having someone fit it, so hopefully that will be sorted in the next week.
Basically because it was a kid who was driving the van they won't admit to it, they've been a bit quieter tonight after the incident as well, although I doubt that will last.
Will just have to hope that the council can come back with something.
Edit - I should have added to the photo post for context, they had been revving their cars, driving out of the estate at speed etc, before this happened we heard tyres screeching, before one of them kept shouting STOP! before we heard a loud crunch. When we looked outside the kid who got out of the drivers seat couldn't have been any older than 12-130 -
Check your deeds to see if there are any covenants preventing people from running a business from home. Our deeds have this, although how you would proceed if yours did I don't know.1

Have you spoken to your local police?1

The ideal process is; get the evidence, and then report. From what you've said, you'd have accumulated plenty. But now it's largely your word against theirs.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/356763116901? This, and a micro SD card. High res images, crystal clear sound, live feed to your phone, and ~10-day SD recording (overwrites) on a 128GB card. Even has remote pan and tilt.1
