My leasehold property has 85 years lease remaining and it has been on the market for 6 months. It is now with my second agent with no shop front, their suggested asking price was the same as my last agent, I have asked the listing price to be reduced by 7%  and had 8 viewings, only the last viewer had commented on the lease and size of the property.  I had queried this feedback and the agent said ' the viewer should had known'.

And the agent does not want to speak to the viewers, mostly, FTB about the asking price which reflects the length of lease etc.

There would be no guarantee it will sell for more even with lease is extended, hence, I have opted to sell as it is and will reduce the price.   I am wondering whether I should reduce the price while I renew my agreement with the current agent? as I do not believe my current agent will have any potential buyers, or just find a new agent.

The agent sounds like a moron (most are) Lease left should be the first question any buyer will ask!!
85 years is plenty for a lease, shouldn't cause any problems
