A wee remark about this: I learnt some years ago that DCC required the lowest numbered meter register tier to be the one for anytime or peak usage. Some systems called them Tier 0 and Tier 1, others Tier 1 and Tier 2, so ample scope for confusion. Anyway, it was established with Secure SMETS1 meters and possibly others that on enrolment and adoption (to virtual SMETS2 status), tier 1 as offpeak just wouldn't work. @MonsteraSky should note this for when a shiny new smart meter comes along.QrizB said:
