hi all im new to this just need a bit of advice, I am living in a council house with teo kids im thinking of buying this property, the house has a level access shower can i still buy ? some are saying if it had a bath then you can buy,
i have been thinking about requesting council for permission to fit a bath with my own expense due to kids they slipped and fell few times.
can i still buy if i make changes to the bathroom ?

I depends on what you mean by 'level access shower'. Council houses that have been specially adapted for a disabled person are usually excluded from the Right To Buy scheme - but is that the case here, or was the shower fitted simply because a previous occupant preferred it?
Different housing authorities have different rules, so I'm afraid that you'll have to run your request past your own HA.4 -
thanks for your message, it has a walk in wet shower that is only adaption.
The shower was fitted in for the previous tennant
what if i apply and get it changed to a standard bathroom1 -
