So that's pretty recent. My guess is that either Cabot or Santader realised that some or all of the debts in the book that was sold should not have been included, so Santader bought them back. This is uncommon but It doesnt normally help you much to try to speculate why.0

I have merged both your threads here for your convenience.
I suspect, and its only a suspicion, that Santander have made a commercial decision and will not pursue the balance on this account, due to it been subject to your husbands insolvency.
