Copy of probate and will

I paid to get a copy of probate and will on 11th April and I was hoping to have received something by now. Other than a copy of the receipt for £1.50, I've heard nothing.
Is this unusual? 
The probate was granted over 20 years ago, but I would have thought it was still available.
Any ideas anyone?

I think this is normal, since older material has to be found and scanned manually. HMCTS aim for a turnaround time of 5 working days so I would wait a little longer before chasing them. If only HMRC were so efficient.

Given the Bank Holiday, it is not that long yet. It will take some searching.

Older wills take much longer to arrive. I ordered 2 recently, one 15 years old arrived almost instantly, the older one took 2+ weeks.
