Boiler Preasure

We have a 6 months old Gloworm boiler Energy 7 34c installed.
We've started to notice the pressure dropping to 0.6, each time we increase the pressure to about 1.3/1.4 it would continue to flash and not provided hot water. Rebooting the system would fix it.
We can't see any leaks and bled the radiators, is there anything else that we can do before we need to get the professionals in. Thanks

@JustinTime19 When you say "rebooting" the system, what does that mean? When you bleed the rads you have to re-pressurise the system i.e. let more water into it to fill the void where air used to be. Having excessive air in the system is a classic cause of pressure drop, and also very bad for your boiler0

Usually, as soon as you top up the pressure, the boiler should come to life again. I don't know if that model requires a 'reboot', tho' - it may do. I presume you mean you turn it off, and then back on, and all is well? If so, that's painless enough - provided you don't have to do it too oftenSo, are you saying that the pressure repeatedly drops from the topped-up 1.4 down to 0.6? If so, the big Q is - where is the water loss?1) Monitor what the pressure does after you've topped it up and the boiler is running - does the pressure rise significantly?2) Locate the safety discharge pipe outside you house, which should be close to where the boiler is. This pipe will be copper, 15mm, and either aiming low at the ground, or bent back against your house wall. Check it for any drips or wetness - it should be bone dry. If you aren't sure, then rubber-band a wee clear plastic bag over the end in order to monitor any water release over a couple of days - there should be zero.0

6 months old = call the installers back under warranty. Should have done that the first time pressure dropped.0

ThanksIf the pressure is regularly dropping down to 0.6 Bar, I'd be on the phone to the company that installed the boiler. At six months old, it will be under warranty, and they should fix any fault for free. For comparison, I had a new boiler two years ago. Initially, the radiators needed bleeding on a regular basis, and the pressure would drop below 1 Bar. Topping up via the filling loop when cold would bring the pressure up to 1.3-1.4 Bar. Working pressure when hot is usually around 1.8 Bar.Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Under warranty - if it's the boiler at fault.
