Good morning, thanks Gers.
It's dry here, yesterday was cold and grey all day.
Thank you, thank you all so much for your good wishes for my dh. He's ok at the moment, he's tired but the hormone treatment makes him tired anyway.
Well done Coxy, what an achievement.
Izzy your yard is lovely, so colourful..
Chrisca I have trouble trouser shopping, but I'm a queer shape - no backside but a bit of a tummy. I take dil or dd. trouser shopping with me, as they are honest and will tell me what looks ok and what doesn't.
Hope everyone has as good a day as they can. Thoughts to TA's friend and her son and anyone else who is sad or poorly.
I know I've missed people out, sorry about that, I should make notes as I read.
Take care folks.

Morning allA bit cloudy out there this morning. Not alot going on today apart from hairdresser coming this morning.I became a great-grandmother yesterday so am feeling my age this morning! My DGD put the info on Faceache so I messaged her and she has replied and I woke this morning to a message with a photo of my new great grandson which was nice so we'll see how things go from here but I think our relationship will be a text one (if that's even a phrase!).Hope everyone has a good day x12

Good morning
Not much to report - another day of postal vote opening - it’s been very busy and non-stop the last two days dealing with all that had come in over the last week or so. Now that’s done we’ll be just dealing with what comes in each day so it might be a bit slower. Nice group of people though.Other than washing the exterior, the campervan is ready to be part exchanged at the weekend -a bit sad as it’s been brilliant and taken me and Bdog on lots of adventures. But the new one will be just as good and hopefully better!Have a good day all

Morning all
It feels very cold here and a bit grey looking, I have Rob coming today but we are not going to work as I have to drop him back early today at lunchtime as he has a hospital appointment so I will only have him for a few hours today, we will take the dogs out for a walk this morning and then go and get my car washed before I take him back.
Dinner tonight will be chicken and chorizo tray bake with new potatoes it’s all done in one tray so less clearing up which is always good, dd is working a late today so only OH and I here for dinner.
I have put a wash on this morning it will have to be hung on the airer as it looks like rain.
TA what shocking news for your friend I hope everything works out for them xx
Have good days all and take care xx

The bright morning has dulled slightly since I woke up though it should get better again. The trip down to Glasgow yesterday was very good, light traffic and no shopping. The other day my late DM's crossword friend (who turns 80 this year) sent me an email about his troubles in getting prescription for his COPD which entailed trailing between two different branches of Boots in the driving rain and winds and without getting his meds. He has real problems walking and breathing. I decided to sort this out, contacted his Boots branch and now got him on the monthly delivery list. He's so pleased, as am I. I don't think he realised that delivery was possible. When I arrived home there was am email (and later a text) from my own pharmacy with codes to collect my meds from the new vending machine. I'm so excited to use it for the first time though that pleasure will have to wait until tomorrow. There's a PIN, a short code to use, or a QR scan. This morning I'm up north to see my new optician. This is after ditching my long standing Glasgow one. I'm hoping for a good experience, it's an independent practice with a husband and wife team only. I've rounded up my three pairs of glasses - car, upstairs and downstairs - to take. I'll also do a bit of shopping.@AA - I had a bit of a palaver registering for postal voting last week. Before this, one registration was sufficient to cover both UK-wide elections and Scottish local and Holyrood elections. No more! I managed to register online for UK but it took two phone calls and a couple of emails to finally find that I am registered for Scottish stuff still, that doesn't expire for another two years. The lovely chap at the office responsible for my area did explain the new regulations and agreed that it was all very confusing, especially as it had only been done recently. Anyway, I'm sorted!Hugs to all, especially the poorlies or sads.PS - forgot to add in huge congratulations to @Chrisca on your brand new GGD. Babies can heal.xAnd happy new campervan to @AA, the road is open for you.8

Morning! Grey and dull here for the moment, not a problem, just going to potter in the garden today and work out what I want done and who can do it [ remove concrete, that kind of thing] OH is off out painting little men when he comes home from work so I'll visit my friend who lives quite near to where he'll be. Not planning on doing much else today you'll be glad to knowScarlet, hope it all goes very quickly for him, poor love, it's very wearing having all that treatment. TA, hope there's a plan in place for your BFs son. She's caught between a rock and a hard place with being able to see him too...hope they can get something resolved. Ruby, hope all is OK with Rob. And that you are well again..how weird.. Chris, congrats. Gers, glad your car is ok. Izzy, trust me, you can get a whole load more pots in there and then you play the 'oh this old thing?I've had it ages' when your husband asks
Nanny, two fridges in two days deserves a medal! Take care all, hope today is a good one....

Morning all. thanks Gers. Yes I suppose we are lucky, the superfast BB was installed throughout the local area. Disruptive at the time with pavements being dug up, but worth it.I realised I didn't catch up with yesterday's news, we went out fairly early, so Scarlet wishing DH all the best for the treatment, and others also undergoing too. My memory for who wrote what is bad so I agree with the notetaking.Chrisca, GGM wow. Nice you got a photo though.Coxy, very well done on your walk- thats an amazing amount to raise for your charity.Izzy- I joined you in the potting up of pots yesterday
.We went to a B& m yesterday to buy a cabin bag we'd read about, and got quite a few plants for the back and the hanging basket for the front, all done now.
It's grey & dull here, & got a MrT order in the next hour.Sending best wishes to all those in need.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)9 -
Morning folks. Grey here too but intermittent sunshine is forecast.
Started this nearly an hour ago and then DD rang with a never ending saga about youngest DGDs phone being scammed, a £200 charge and hours on the phone to numerous people trying to sort it. It's still ongoing. Anyway she was ringing really to see if I wanted a quick grocery shop so I had better get cracking. My bedding is languishing in the wm which I heard finish half an hour ago, and may have to languish there until I get back. As will remaking the bed.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. CHRISCA huge congratulations on becoming a Gt Grandma! Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
