Charter Savings Bank - deposits & withdrawals questions

I've just opened a savings account online, and have sent a test £1 deposit, which I'm waiting to see in the account before I transfer more. I was wondering whether existing customers could answer a couple of questions:
1. How quickly do deposits (via bank transfers) typically appear in the account?
2. How easy and quick is it to make withdrawals? (I don't actually see any option for making withdrawals on their website)

Deposits are showing in Charter Acc either same day if made before 21:00 otherwise will be next day, I've seen that over the weekend too
Withdrawals are Nominated Acc next day if made before 15:00, after will be the following day

Re. the withdrawals: now that the £1 is showing in my account I am being asked to "Authenticate" my Nominated Account before I can make withdrawals. It seems that I need to wait for a code to arrive in the post in order for me to do this. So I have some more waiting to do....0 -

The Charter account was setup a little earlier, so was ready to go, date below are what I experienced
Sat 12 Apr 2025 12:05- Application received by Charter
Sat 12 Apr 2025 12:40- User ID issued
Thu17 Apr 2025 09:45- Nominated Acc authenticated. After receiving the letter that morning.
Hope that is of help, it is just a case of waiting for the Royal Mail0 -

I was looking for a decent instant access account. We were using Ulster loyalty saver but our balance dropped below £5000 so needed to find an alternative. I thought Charter savings would tick the box but after opening it I sadly found it is too slow for quick and regular transfers in and out.0
