contents insurance for mum in care home

Hi, my mum has now had to go into a care home permanently and needs contents insurance for her belongings, but I'm finding it really difficult to find any. The sites all want to know about door locks and alarms and I dont have that info. Her door isnt locked like a student / lodger house.
Does anyone have any experience? , thanks

Ask what the other residents do? Ask the care home for suggestions?

Why does she need contents insurance? You’re not going to be able to insure  against theft or anything like that, So really, you’re just looking at accidental damage. It again in a car home with lots of people going in and out of the room might be quite hard to identify what has happened and when.

Most people in care homes don’t have contents insurance, so what specifically are you looking to cover?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
