CCJ variation date of judgement reporting

Hi,

In 2019 I defaulted on a credit card.

It was sold to a debt collection agency in 2020.

In 2020 a CCJ was issued for £8,500.

I spoke to the debt collection agency in 2021 and was told the amount had been revised as the original creditor had overcharged interest.

I did not engage with the debt collection agency and moved to another country in the UK.

In 2024 the CCJ was removed and readded to my credit report with a slightly lower value, £8,300 - but the same case number.

The date of judgement on my credit report and Registry Trust is now 2024.

I assume this is a variation as the case number is unchanged.
If so, should a variation of a CCJ be recorded with credit reference agencies as the original judgement date or the varied judgement date?
