This morning I'm taking my car down to have quick inspection of the grating noise which the mechanics suspect is a stone in the wheel arch. It's probably a waste of time but I will feel happier for it.Well done @Coxy - what an achievement. Hope you can rest up for a bit now. I seem to have missed you changing jobs. My recollection is of you being at a hospital but obviously failed to catch up.My gardener is coming this morning, the garden really needs her attention, I'm just sorry that I won't be here. She chooses the day by the weather forecast.Hugs to all our poorlies and sads.10

Good morning, thanks for starting Gers.
It's a misty grey start here, not really cold though, just a bit shivery.
Dh started his radiotherapy yesterday, so that will go on for another 19 days, excluding weekends and bank holidays of course.
I've got a bit of tidying to do today, don't need to go out.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Take care folks.

Morning All
Bright this morning but a bit chilly, hoping for some sunshine!
Hope you're resting Coxy, your feet must be sore.
Hoping your DH's treatment goes well Scarlet.
I was back at work yesterday and it didn't disappoint! Firstly we couldn't get on to the school office emails then the whole system went down for a while, all back up and running by lunchtime by which time there was a lot of catching up to do. The day flew by but I was very tired when I got home! Greenhouse watered and a treatment put on the grass and a relaxing bath later.
Visiting a friend after work for a cuppa and catch up.
Hope everyone is well, take care. XX10 -

Morning everyone Scarlet I hope everything goes well for your DH today I’m off to do a cleaning job soon I’m just waiting for the washer to finish I will get them hung out before I go. When I get back I have some stuff to take to the charity shop and a parcel to drop off . I’ve got a little gammon joint in the slow cooker I will make peas pudding when I get back that’s today sorted and probably tomorrow. Talking about gardens Gers I sat in mine a little bit yesterday it’s not really a garden we have a huge yard that we put artificial grass down and I put some nice pots in it hubby has said no more pots and I agree with him now I don’t think I’ve got an inch spare but it looks lovely. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning all
Its been raining in the night and more due later, it will save me watering the plants tonight. Rob coming today and we are off to the cafe to do some baking. Yesterday we went to the aviation museum which was really lovely but I started to feel really poorly half way through the day I felt really nauseous and hot and sweaty I came home and lay down for a while and then felt fine, my dd then had the exact same thing in the evening very strange.
Dinner tonight will be spag bol nice and easy when I get in, I have some eggs on to boil for my sandwich at lunch time.
I am another one who struggles with trousers although they are always too short for me and tend to flap around my ankles I have to buy extra long ones I am 5ft 11 so not surprising really.
Coxy well done on your walk what a fantastic amount raised in memory of your nephew xx
Scarlett I hope the treatment goes well today for your DH xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. It was a lovely sunny start early doors but a bit of cloud has now appeared.. Not rain cloud, just light cloud which is to come and go throughout the day. Sunny intervals and 16 deg says the forecast.
SCARLET I hope all goes well for your DH in the coming days. Wow RUBY, you are one tall lady compared to quite a few of us on here! IZZY your little garden looks lovely.
Yesterday I plodded on with garden pot emptying, refilling and potting on. Much stopping and leg resting in between. Just as I decided I'd had enough though the post van pulled up with 2 of the plants I had ordered at the w/e! I put them to soak and will pot them on this morning. Then that will be it until summer bedding time I think..
DF's DS in Oz has now had a PET scan, MRI scan and CT scan, plus a biopsy and has an appointment next week with the Consultant to discuss the results and what happens next. Understandably DF is worried sick and just wishes he was nearer.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8
