Moorside Legal - had sold the car

Options
Just after a bit of guidance/help, please….
We've received a ‘Letter of Claim’ from Moorside Legal on behalf of NCP.
The letter states that it’s for Parking without Payment on 21/09/24. The car the letter is referencing was sold on 16/08/23 through a car dealership (we have the evidence of sale and new owner details).
My question is, do I contact Moorside with the new owner details via email (including evidence of sale) or do I complete the forms they sent? Not sure of the wording for anything as the templates I’ve found on here all refer to being the registered keeper, and we’re not.
Thank you!

Just alter the email response to the LoC stating that you were neither the Registered Keeper,  or keeper or driver and evidence to prove it will feature in any future court claim,  including in a counter claim,  so refer the matter back to their client  !

Yes - and also send the evidence to the DPO of NCP by email too, and tell them to erase your data because you were not the keeper or driver and they must take the matter up with the actual keeper/driver whose details are attached.

    Don't use a template.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
