You may be better joining the Facebook Tomato Energy Users Group as there are a few people on there who have signed up to the Tomatopia solar panel/battery agreement.
There are mixed views on the Tomatopia package and some concerns if I recall correctly over the contractual arrangements.
Be aware though that Tomato Energy are currently subject to an Ofgem Provisional Order which prevents them from taking on any new customers until they meet certain financial criteria.0 -
There are only a few days a year you get full sun and therefore full energy from the panels. You need to think when you use the energy and when the panels produce the energy. Most people use the energy in the evening, when the panels produce less energy and therefore you need to consider a good tariff for exporting.0

I registered for it in january they came and done the survey 2 weeks ago is the 2000 kw normal.
They said i have to pay for a shed to store the battery £450, switch a £150 and sub board £297 which comes to i can pay that up front or pay that in 8 installments each per month i found a shed already which i am going to buy myself which cost £2090 -

As I understand it you are guaranteed 7000kWh use p.a at the £139.99 a month price..
If the panels/battery generate a surplus, then Tomato Energy take that for free over the period of the contract.0 -
On there website it says starts from £99.99 pm.
I was wondering why they saying £139.99 to me0 -
I think it is because they have usage bands.
If they have looked at your historic usage and can see 5000kWh, you must fall into the £139.99/7000kWh band.0 -
Thanks for the help0
