Group Income Protection Insurance

Curious to get expert thoughts on this. Due to harassment and unfair treatment by employer I was diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder, depression (and PTSD) resulting in being away from work while I am seeking treatment. While I am eligible for GIP the policy (AVlVA) states the following. Despite condition being clinical, can claim be rejected due to the following?

Workplace matters, which include:
- A breakdown in the relationship between the member and their employer.
- Workplace demands.
- Failure to make reasonable adjustments necessary for the member to continue working in accordance with discrimination and equality laws.

No one is going to be able to say without seeing things like the full policy wording, medical records etc. Even then it may come down to individual company's claims handling procedures.

It costs you nothing to submit a claim and they will be much better placed to judge if the claim is legitimate.
