Discontinued Paint

Hi.
I'm in the middle of painting and my paint has run out. It's Pure Brilliant White 000 from Wilko.
Anyone know if I can still buy this anywhere? Tin says it's produced in Roebuck Way, Manton Wood, Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Do they produce paint for other companies?
Reluctant to try a different white in case it doesn't match exactly right.

You could try stores that still sell Wilko products (The Range, Poundland, for example), or you could try purchasing direct from Wilko as they still have an online presence.0

The address on own brand stuff is usually the retailer, I have found in the past checking the helpline number or downloading the COSH data sheet can reveal the real manufacturer. A large shed DIY retailer's own brand wallpaper paste used the same helpline number as Polycell for example, so 3 guesses who made it.

You can get it online for £4.99 delivery.0

Otherwise it is Durable Matt, not just standard Matt.
Dulux sell a similar product and so did Homebase, but the latter is not available anymore.

The good think about brilliant white is that it only comes in one shade, whoever you buy it from. It's titanium dioxide colour. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -

I know that for white plastics ( like UPVC windows for example) that also use Tio2, you can end up with a warmer/yellower tint or a cooler/bluer tint. If you look at them apart they look very similar, but next to each other the difference is clear.
Could be though that only one type is ever used in white paint , or they all use a blend to get a standard white.
However cheaper paints will contain less TiO2, which is why you often need more coats as it also gives opacity to the paint.0 -
If you need to use a different brand of the same colour make sure you use it on a complete wall. Don't use the old one up doing half of a wall. A slight difference is less likely to show up on a different wall.0
