In my case my landline is down and not able to log on to my VM account to check to see if the problem is known.

My landline is ok (goes via the router since a recent change), but the online account doesn't seem to be working for me either, gives an error "Oops, looks like something's gone wrong on our side." and "Please try again".whattochoose said:In my case my landline is down and not able to log on to my VM account to check to see if the problem is known.

Just checked the service status page - https://www.virginmedia.com/help/check/status -where you enter your postcode and last name, and it shows a problem "Sign in may be unavailable at the moment. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused." with an expected fix time of 6:04pm today.1 -
Looks like the issue has been fixed now.0
