Gift cards

Hi all, new here so move my thread if in wrong place 😃
I was gifted £50 vouchers for Next but having tried to use them on their website it refused the sale but deducted amount from cards
So contacted C.S, first they said they'd post out new giftcards , it takes 10 days so I asked if they could send e-vouchers
, they agreed but for the past week I still have not received them, first I gave them the wrong email which I obviously didn't, then system failed to send , now they're asking if I still have original gift cards!

Having phoned C.S again today she said they hadn't  been sent yet and would send them now but I still haven't received them !

Can I request a bank debit instead of e- vouchers?
Really annoyed , this has been dragging on for days, despite their promises and reassurance I have no further forward
Thanks in advance for any advice 😃

I doubt they can legally give you money into a bank account due to money laundering rules.  Give them a few more days (kids off school, they're short staffed) and if nothing happens ask again.  If that doesn't work log a complaint with them.  Keep notes of any emails, calls (who, when, discussion), in case you do need to complain.

It's a bank holiday weekend at the end of school holidays.  Their administrative functions are probably closed or run on very limited staffing.

If the problem isn't resolved, it's the purchaser of the gift cards that holds the consumer rights in this situation.
