Petrol not charged to card?!

Hi all, not sure where to put this so please move if in the wrong section.
On Thursday I went to get petrol on my way home from work.
The screen showed 'Pay at pump' or 'Pay in store', I clicked pay at pump, booped my card (via my phone/applepay in case that makes a difference).
Screen showed 'Sucess, Pre-auth'ed up to £99'.
So I started filling the car. I was watching the amount tick up, and it got to arround £55 before clicking off.
By the time I re-racked the nozzle and closed my fuel cap, I turned to get my receipt but the screen was back the main menu - 'Pay at pump or store'.
I've been checking my card ever since and no transaction is showing on my app. Not even a pending transaction. I've even checked my 'wallet' on my phone, and no outgoing transaction is showing there.
The pump screen showed the card had sucessfully been captured, so I'm not sure why there is no payment showing up.
I'm hoping the payment will just suddenly come out after the bank holiday, but I'm worried I'm going to get a letter through the door saying I've ran from the petrol station.
Any advice?!

The fact that the pump worked after you presented your phone means that you'll have been charged.
I'm waiting on a Subway order to appear on my card from last Saturday1 -
It will appear in the app eventually. it's just delayed.1

They have as far as card regulations 6 months to process the payment from the date shown on the transaction.
Or in legal terms 6 years or 5 years Scotland.Life in the slow lane1 -
