My win 11 laptop is not showing the download folder (it has vanished) and the recycle bin is acting strangely too (it is not letting me recover anything)
Any ideas ?
I've done an AV scan - nothing found

Re download folder, try manually navigating to c:\Users\yourusername\Downloads - does that exist? if you use Onedrive you might see a Onedrive folder as you navigate to the above, if so go in there and look for a Downloads folder.0
