My house is due to complete sale in a few weeks. The neighbours are getting a driveway but we have a shared middle path down both sides. If they try and move boundaries what happens?

You tell them to stop. They can make alterations up to the boundary but not over it.0

Is this a purely hypothetical question, or do you have any reason to suspect that the neighbours might try to move the boundary?
In general, as above, if a neighbour tries to take some of your land or block your right of way, the first step would be to tell them not to.
