Hi everyone,
It's a lovely sunny day today again, it was so warm yesterday. Steve was looking at his figures for the heating and reckons that the heat pump will only cost us about £15 to run this month. We've also generated a lot of power from the solar panels it's been so sunny, bets of all as far as I'm concerned is that the house stays at a lovely even temperature all the time. I'd recommend a heat pump to anyone although the initial outlay makes you wince.
We had our day with Nate yesterday, he's doing brilliantly with his potty training but we didn't go anywhere and I'm really feeling it today, I do a lot more getting down on the floor and crawling round with him when we stay in and I feel very achey today. I'd made a vegetable tagine for dinner but he didn't eat it even though it was full of his favourites.
Laura, Brian and the children went to Skomer island and saw the puffins yesterday, they loved it. Several of their friends are leaving today but they are getting a new influx in until Monday.
Have a good day.8 -
Good afternoon all, a late one from.me. it's getting dark outside so I guess we're in for some rain.
Well, they say things come in threes. After bf's husband and Mre ND both being in hospital, my dgd was at A&E until 2.30 this morning with chest pains. They did tests but couldn't find anything wrong, so she's back home for the time being. A worrying time for my dd.
On the brighter side my DH went out yesterday and on the way home visited Ald*. He came home a presented me with.... wait for it, not flowers or an Easter egg, but a leg of lamb and 2 bags of potatoes! I think romance has gone out of the window here, or have I just trained him well?
Salmon for tea tonight. Have a good Good Friday all. Take care.9
