Conveyancing bill two months after completion. Almost £1000 of extra fee vs the quote

Options
We just got a bill from the Conveyance 2 months after we completed.

Looking for some input, we just got an additional bill from our conveyance due to land registering. Slightly annoying but the real issue is that it £330 instead of the quoted £150. I know in grand scheme of things, not the biggest amount. However are original quotes was £3200 this included a £150 discount (I know it’s pricey to start off with). We are know looking at paying £4100.

Some of the extra are understandable like indemnity insurance and gifted fee. (unforeseen)

However, about £300 are mandatory searches due to having a mortgage. We told them when quoting it would be a mortgage purchase and they included a mortgage fee on the quote. (We just paid it as we  wanted to complete and didn’t say anything.)

This new bill is due to the house being unregistered with land registry. Once again we told them about this when they quoted and had an unregistered fee add to the quote.  When I questioned the £180 different they said we didn’t tell it it was unregistered. However the unregistered fee is on the quote.

Is there anything we can really do or is it suck it up and pay

You can tell all this to the solicitor and ask for an explanation.
