Nice one. Well done. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hello
As pensioner, I was horrified to received two NTK within one month from Smart Parking totalling £120, which I really cannot afford. The car park used to be three hours free parking, but somewhere between April and May Smart Parking has changed the conditions of parking from three hours free to one hour free on its signage. Unlike the local council they did not provide either notice/signage to inform the public of the change, hence the NTK's. I have read the information from this forum which is helpful, but any other suggestions to appeal these unfair NTK's. I contacted my local council who told me that Smart Parking do not have to adhere to the same guidelines as a Council does and effectively they can 'do what they like'.0 -

But EDITED TO SAY - see below.
Appeals will be harder now, although there is still a valid argument that the free parking times were reduced without extra signs being up for 4 months, which is a breach of the code of practice.
BUT COMPLAIN TO THE RETAILERS FIRST. They can cancel a PCN if this is a retail car park.
