No harm in trying ringing them, with a 15K limit you should be a 'good' customer

    Hi.

What does a 0% deal actually mean?
Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.

Hi Hillendale - I am in exactly the same position and wanted to know this. There was an Egg employee on the board yesterday, and his/her reply to that question is:

You won't automatically be entitled to any offer so I doubt you'd get anything, even if you haven't used your card. Although I have seen in the past that introductory offers have been extended when there's been no use (not recently though as far as I'm aware). You could always just ask them if there's any offer on your card. If you want the introductory offer you'd need to close the Egg Card and then wait 12 months before you could reapply and then you'd get whatever offer is available when you apply.

I have also just now sent a secure message to Egg, and will let you know (would you do the same for me?) what they say. If they won't allow it, I will simply cancel the card and see what's what in 12 months.

    Good luck anyway.
    Regards
    Jen
