The Excel macro created some long time ago by a French chap, and which worked well, no longer works with a 64bit version of xl. This website (XL2QIF Converting Excel files to QIF for import to Quicken – Matt A) claims to have modified the macro such that it will now work. Has anyone tried it out and can confirm that it is safe?  According to many site safety checking systems there is no reported issue with the site.
An alternative approach is to revert to a 32bit version of xl - which means, for me, deleting the 64bit version of Microsoft 365 and replacing it with the 32 bit one instead. I'm reluctant to do that.
