Changing bank details CA

How long should it take for CA to change the bank details from one account to another?. I contacted CA on Thursday after finding out my CA was still in payment despite demanding and being assured it was stopped, and I changed my bank details from my ex partners to mine but it appears the money is still being sent to my partner.  I'm getting frustrated because I am in a DV refuge and have no money to live on because CA(money I can no longer get access too) is deducted in full from my UC and I'm no longer entitled to the carer element.

Really worried as it states online it can take upto 3 months for them to either close claim or switch bank details, if that is the case then I'm gonna be in deep financial distress. I just want either my money paid to me or the claim stopped so I receive full UC entitlement.

As it is ex partners account. They could not use (CASS) switch service. 

Thought that myself. Then realised who's account it went into.

Situation resolved Carers have closed my account and UC have confirmed deductions have stopped from this assessment period onwards. I will now receive my full UC entitlement from next payment.
