Universal Credit Review Issue

I've now been claiming UC for just over a year, they've now requested 4 months bank statements due to them doing a review and have arranged a telephone interview for me.
I was due to receive a payment tomorrow, but looks like I won't get any payment as have not been issue my statement.
In January I was the executor of an estate where 25k from deceased's estate was released to my account for me to distribute as per the will, some of the money is still in my account as is still to be given out as this is to go to children once accounts have ben set up.
I didn't inform UC about this money as didn't think that I had to due to it technically not being my money.
What is likely to be the outcome from this as I'm worried sick that they'll class it as fraud, everywhere else that I read, people state they still receive their normal payments while awaiting review to be done.

Universal Credit should disregard any capital that you have in your bank account that you are not the beneficial owner of. The beneficial owner is the person who has a right to spend the money. As an executor you don't have a right to spend this money UNLESS you are a benefficiary of the Will and there is no good reason that you haven't distributed the money to yourself and the other beneficiaries (you would only have the right to spend the money that was left to you in the Will and that could be distributed to you).
However, you needed to tell them about this money in January and have created the potential for the delay by not telling them promptly.
They shouldn't class it as fraud as you have the Will and the Executors Accounting Records as evidence. If the Executor Accounting Records are not meticulous, you have until the date of the appointment to get them so.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2
