It's not the bag that people were bidding for...it's the fact it was for charity.0

I paid £2.50 for a Tesco carrier back on Ebay once. Not on purpose, I hasten to add, but I bought a pair of jeans & when they arrived the seller had 'packed' them in a tesco bag (nothing else) sealed up with sellotape & just stuck the stamps on the bag. Couldn't believe it.0

Have had quite a few parcels arrive in a carrier with the stamps added on like that - not sure you are allowed to do it though!2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

i think you can put a stamp on anything to post it.
any fancy posting themselves up to me to test this out?A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.0 -
I once stuck a stamp on a cheese slice and posted it, so you can pretty much send anything. Also know a guy in the aberdeen sorting office who sent traffic cones :beer:0

I am dying to know if there was a reason behind this lol!
We went camping and left all the food behind, so when we got back we cooked it all up, and then sent what was left to the people who missed out. Rolls and sausage ect went out in jiffy bags, and we decided to try out the sticky stamps directly onto the cheese slice.
The recipient said it arrived in perfect condition, he promptly opened it and used on his toast.0 -
