More Than letter - no longer selling home insurance

Letter arrived today saying More Than is no longer selling home insurance.

So won't be renewing mypolicy.

Apologies if been posted before did a quick search.


So not just my policy.


So assume don't have to tick any nasty boxes on comparison sites. Correct ?



Also says thry are pasing details onto Admiral's backer to offer a quote - is this allowed ?

    Not offering renewal terms as they are no longer using that trading name is not something you declare.

    Yes.  
    More than is just a trading name of EUI Ltd which is part of Admiral.

    You need to read the question and answer honestly. With the traditional question of have you ever been refused insurance, cancelled, voided, special terms etc then you can answer "no", they simply declined to quote. 

    A minority now add to the end of the traditional question an extra point about "has an insurer ever declined to provide a renewal quote", to that you would need to say "yes"
