How Much Should I Expect To Pay?

I'm looking at moving out of a shared flat into a one bedroom flat with my Girlfriend and I'm wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how much to expect to pay for the bills. I can't really go by the bills in my current shared flat as it's an old top floor flat with no double glazing and what seems like no insulation

The new place we're looking at is a one bedroom ground floor flat conversion with double glazing all round.

Is there any way of working out approximate prices?

So many variables, rusty, anything from £500 to a max of £1000. The stickies posts at the top should give you more information.
At least with full insulation you have something to work at. You don't say the type of heating, electric being more expensive than gas central heating. More details are needed.

I am living in a one bedroom flat.

Elec + gas (from british gas) - £48 per month (BG is not the cheapest supplier so you could have it for less)
BT line rental - £11 or so per month
    Council tax - £136 x 6 months
  • Thanks for the response guys.

Is there a great deal of difference between the cost of gas and electric heating? I'm looking at another flat at the moment which has electric heating but I don't know if the heating bill would be excessive using electric.

I dont know for sure, but people have told me that gas central heating is cheaper to run than electric heating.
