Probably the best intermediary at the moment is Trip.com... for certain Chinese airlines this is the only way to book since the English versions of their websites are not functional. I also found that I needed to use an intermediary to book on certain Turkish airlines.

A cautionary tale: I booked an Easyjet flight through Trip and managed to get the date wrong! The change fees with Trip were THREE TIMES those that Easyjet would have charged to change a drect booking, and so in the end I had to buy a completely new ticket. However, I did save a few pounds on the original ticket price.

Thanks everyone, against all helpful advice i still decided to book with GotoGate......i know the risks involved.
Made the booking and received airline booking reference number as well.
When i go to the airline website, Plus Ultra, i cant find anywhere to actually 'view booking'.
Although if i select 'check-in', enter my booking ref and surname, a message appears that check in is available 48hrs before flight, which indicates that the booking is valid on Plus Ultra.
Anyone familiar with Plus Ultra, know where i can view booking? Website is only in Spanish.
I'm also aware Plus Ultra may not be one of the best rated airlines. Have contacted Plus Ultra by email also asking for booking confirmation.

I speak Spanish and could not see anywhere on the website to view your booking. Perhaps the nearest is the option to get an invoice, although this is only for tickets that they have sold to you directly. Anyway, try this link:
    https://www.plusultra.com/es-es/informacion/factura/

You need to enter your surname, then your first name, then your 13-digit ticket number (all numeric).

Your invoice cannot be requested. Contact us at https://www.plusultra.com/es-es/informacion/reclamaciones/ .
I contacted Plus Ultra a few days ago, so all i can do is wait on their response.
