Good morning Gers, thanks for starting.
It's raining here, don't know if it's set for the day. I'm going to the shops later for bread and eggs, possibly some spuds.
We went out for a walk yesterday, it was sunny, coolish though.
Not much happening today.

Setting off for a quick unexpected trip to Glasgow to collect an order, I'm coming straight home as the GP receptionist rang me yesterday to offer me a cancellation for the minor surgery clinic this afternoon. If you recall I have a small though very annoying lump on my back, I saw a GP back in February when I told that it was a four week wait - nearly eight weeks later I phoned last week so a good result.

Morning all

Dry here for now but more rain due later it’s also much colder than it has been, we lit the fire last night as it was so cold so might do the same tonight just to take the edge off.

Rob coming today and we are off to the cafe to do some baking and he will get to see his friends, the Easter eggs went down well yesterday he proudly gave his friends an egg each what a difference a few years make when he first came to me he hated giving gifts as I think he saw them all as his but he now gives freely which is so nice to see. Snow White was very good yesterday although I didn’t realise it was a musical which I don’t usually like, the guys really liked it though which is the main thing.

Pork chops mash and veg for dinner tonight, dd is on an early so will eat with us. I have put a wash on this morning which can go on the airer before I go to work.

Morning everyone off to do a cleaning job soon it’s cold wet and miserable here I’m at the doctors later just for my yearly thyroid tests but nothing much happening here I’m making beef stew for tonight and I think we will have the fire lit later . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

When I woke up it was blue sky but it's clouding over a bit now. 

More potting on done yesterday and something's been chewing the leaves so slug pellets have been deployed!

Nothing exciting going on today except some housework and a freezer dive for something for dinner.

Morning All

It was dry when I got up but beginning to rain now. Yesterday turned into a lovely sunny day, the washing was dried outside but don't think that will happen today.

I had a lovely trip to Glasgow for afternoon tea - not my favourite meal but it was very nice and in one of my favourite eating places. The train was cancelled again so had to do part of the journey in the car then change to the bus which took ages but was free with my bus pass! Went to a shop I've  been meaning to visit for a while and got a few bits, could have spent a fortune in there!

Going to pick up the little one in a bit and keep her until tomorrow. She's already asked to go swimming so we will do that this afternoon, means she will have a good night's sleep! Risotto for tea as usual and that's already been prepped so feel ahead of the game today for a change.

Good morning 
Thank you for the start @Gers hope all goes well this afternoon.

Yesterday was four seasons in one day. Hot, cold, sunny, dull, rain. The garden definitely needed the rain and the water butts are full. Today is meant to be better so I'll have a walk. 
Might try and get a the peas into the garden.

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Overnight rain here but now fine until it resumes later. I'm not complaining though 'cos I know it's much needed after the lengthy dry spell.

A day of sloth is on the agenda for me after the numerous buses trip to Harrogate yesterday. It was a very tiring but enjoyable day meeting up with family and friends. The restaurant lived up to it's good reputation and we all left stuffed. Then a bit of shopping time which ended up costing me more than I anticipated, thanks to the company of 2 of the DGDs!  I got myself a few summery things too ,I just hope the nice weather comes back to wear them!

Morning! It's raining here, and quite cool.

Gers hope your procedure goes ok.

No plans for today really.Tea will be some beef stew from the freezer.

Yesterday we had to pick up DGS from a football camp, so we called in a Mr. S nearby first and got a lamb joint and a beef one. The beef one has been cut in half and frozen. Got some fish reduced too so thats joined them.

 DGS came home with us for a bit & proceeded to eat his way through the cupboards ,  then did some drawing, and showed us a photo on his phone of a painting he'd done.It was really lovely, he'd asked DS1( his uncle) if he could have some paintbrushes the day before which I'd found during the decorating of the bedroom. Art skills being passed down the line, from DH, and DS1, not that they do any these days.Funnily enough  DS2 didn't inherit the artistic gene

Raining harder now, I don't think I'll be going for my walk unless it eases.

Morning all...very windy, occcasional rain, one of my trees in a pot blew over so I've been out and righted it and then sorted out some other stuff that's blown about a bit. Nothing much doing today, there may be some going out involved , there's a prescription to pick up that I ran out of but couldn't be bothered to go and fetch yet. Not the attitude but hey ho.
