Received a letter of claim

Hi. I received a penalty notice back in August 2024 and have been ignoring all the letters, like I have in the past, but they haven’t gone away. Now I have received a letter of claim but that was nearly 2 months ago and I’m worried that this is going to go bad. The ticket was for parking in a disabled bay and failing to display a blue badge. I am disabled with multiple problems and the parking site( the fort shopping centre, Birmingham) doesn’t charge for parking. I could really use some guidance for what to do next. Many thanks

I doubt that you received a Penalty Notice, more likely to be a Parking Charge Notice from a private parking company, so which parking company ?
Which company issued the Letter of Claim ?
Study the advice in the second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

Hi Gr1pr, thanks for your reply. The ticket was issued by parking control management ltd and Moorside legal are the solicitors handling the case. Forgive my stupidity but I can’t seem to find the sticky thread you mention. Could you post a link to it please, many thanks.0
