https://www.santander.co.uk/personal/current-accounts/railcard-offerSaw this on my Santander homepage, and thought I’d share. Seems like a pretty nice offer for not much work! To get this offer you must:
-Be aged 20-25 on 30th June 2025.
-Open a Santander savings account (unclear if existing accounts count).
-Deposit £50 by 31st May and keep it in until 30th June.
And you get a 4-year railcard.

Hello! My son had this same thing when he logged into Santander today, but my daughter didn't. They both fit the criteria (son 21, daughter 23) - wondering if there is a reason she hasn't had this and he has - it's easy enough for her to do the necessary in order to qualify and fulfill the conditions so I guess we'll see in time!
In case anyone finds this useful, even though my son already has various easy access accounts with nothing in them, AND a 4% soon to be reduced easy access account, AND a 5% regular saver, it only took him sixty seconds to open another easy access account (tiny % but he'd really like the free railcard) so that he can put £50 in it before 31st May.0 -
My daughter got a 4 year railcard through Santander with having a student account, it's good it's now available to others. She does save a lot of money as she is constantly going on the train to somewhere.0
