Bed slats keep falling out

Think I asked this question before about another bed.
The slats don't seem warped or broken but they slot into the frame rather than clip in and now slide about, only began having issues after I got a new mattress last year which wasn't as thick/soft so maybe more weight is getting put on the frame.
First it went around 4 months ago but seemed fine after I moved matress a little so it hangs a tiny bit over the side I sleep, it did go once more a few weeks later so I used foam tape to fill the gap and then reversed the frame.
Had no issues until a few days ago, heard a few creaks over time but nothing bad, then 1 slat went, put it back in, then it went that night and this time 2 went, put both back and then 3 went, so put them back and like 5 have went.
Same issue with each they slide down, I did think maybe use velcro on them and that works but now I can't fit in the slat as the hole is now too small to fit unless I maybe put a tiny bit of velcro on instead of a larger amount.

Any chance of a photo of the bed with the slats?1

Aren't your slats screwed in or at least held in somewhere? Our wooden framed bed has bolts on the end slats, and I screwed through the rest myself although it would probably be fine without the screws. If they aren't warped, then it may be the frame is bulging maybe. You'd either need to screw the slats in or fit some wood to pull the frame together. Obviously, if it's not made of wood, ignore all that. As above, a photo would help.0

I've seen slats on a webbing roll that do this, if you fix the first and last slat down the others are held in place. Screw down if the frame is wood, you could glue them if its metal, or drill a hole and bolt down.

I had a problem like this with a cheap bed, and realised the issue was with the side rails flexing outwards and allowing the slats to fall between them. I added a tie across the middle to stop them spreading apart (I used this kind of thing but a timber batten would have worked too).1

Hi sorry for late response all, looks like I fixed in the end.Shorter version of events.Put velcro on the gaps in slats, this meant the plastic on both ends is now secure but the wood then slides out of the plastic.Used epoxy on the wood and put the plastic end pieces on but only on the side I lie on my side on.The glued end now stays in but now the other side the wood pops out of the plastic pieces so glue those ones in.Now just one slat pops out, the ond about half way down my back so holds the most weight.I put a tiny hole in barely big enough to run a cable tie through, and for a bonus add cable ties to the others.Since then not a single one has come out and the bed is now no longer creaky as a bonus.Heres a picture of pre me gluing them.0
